Sing Your Heart Out brought music back into my life.
For as long as I can remember, listening to music upset me – my emotions would overwhelm me, making me either elated or depressed. It was totally new for me to experience music as fun. I think the key to this was actually helping to make the music myself, alongside other people who would not be judgemental in any way.
SYHO inspired me to join another choir, out in the community. This is the ‘SYHO Effect’! I still find it hard to believe that I can feel, and give, enjoyment through music. I shall always be grateful to those who opened this door for me.
